Liver Function, Fasting Lipid Profile & Pregnancy (Beta-hCG) (€105.00)

This combined blood test measures your Liver Function Tests (LFTs), Fasting Lipid Profile, and Pregnancy Hormone (Beta-hCG). It is commonly requested before or during treatment with certain prescription medications where routine monitoring is required.

Liver Function Tests assess liver health, while the fasting lipid profile measures cholesterol and triglycerides. Beta-hCG is a hormone used to determine pregnancy status and may be required before or during certain treatments.

Note: Bookings can only be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Changes made after this cut-off will not be accepted.

Important Information Before Your Appointment

Fasting: Do not eat or drink (except water) for at least 8 hours before your test. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Smoking & Gum: Please avoid smoking or chewing gum before your appointment.

Medication: Continue taking any prescribed medication as normal unless advised otherwise by your healthcare professional.

Exercise: Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours beforehand.

Arrival: Arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment.
