This test is for individuals aged 18 and over.

This blood test provides a detailed look at key markers involved in maintaining strong and healthy bones. It assesses levels of calcium, phosphate, vitamin D, alkaline phosphatase, and parathyroid hormone — all essential for bone strength, density, and overall skeletal health. It is particularly useful for those at risk of osteoporosis, vitamin D deficiency, or calcium imbalance.

Note: Bookings can only be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time.Changes made after this cut-off will not be accepted.

Important Information Before Your Appointment

• You do not need to fast for this test.

• You should stay well hydrated before your appointment.

• You should avoid smoking before your test.

• You should continue taking your prescribed medications, but let the phlebotomist know if you are on supplements that may affect bone or vitamin D levels.

• You should avoid strenuous exercise before your blood draw.

• You need to arrive 10 minutes early to allow time to relax before your appointment.

• You must be aged 18 or over to book this test.
