This test is for individuals aged 18 and over.

A blood test to measure Vitamin D (25-hydroxy) levels, which are essential for maintaining strong bones, supporting the immune system, and regulating mood. This test addresses deficiencies commonly associated with limited sunlight exposure in Ireland.

Important Information Before Your Appointment:

·       You should fast for a minimum of 8 hours before providing a blood sample. This means you should not eat or drink anything, except for water. We encourage you to drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated ahead of your appointment.

·       Please refrain from smoking or chewing gum prior to your appointment.

·       Do not stop taking any prescribed medication prior to your appointment.

·       Avoid rigorous exercise 48 hours prior to your appointment.

·       Please arrive 10 minutes before your allocated appointment time.

·       Please note this service is for over 18s only. Minors will not be tended to, and our team may ask for ID if you look under the age of 25.
