This test is for individuals aged 18 and over.

The DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone Sulphate) Test measures a key hormone involved in hormone balance, energy levels and overall wellbeing. It is often used to assess adrenal function and support hormone-related investigations.

This test can be useful for individuals experiencing fatigue, hormonal imbalance, or those undergoing hormone or fertility assessments.

Note: Bookings can only be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Changes made after this cut-off will not be accepted.

Important Information Before Your Appointment

Fasting: Fasting is not required for this test.

Hydration: Drink plenty of water beforehand.

Smoking & Gum: Avoid smoking or chewing gum before your appointment.

Medication: Continue prescribed medication as normal unless instructed otherwise.

Exercise: Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours beforehand.

Arrival: Arrive 10 minutes early for your appointment.

Age Requirement: This service is for adults aged 18+. ID may be requested if you appear under 25.
